climategrants.in is a searchable, deadline-aware directory of non-dilutive funding for Indian climate startups. Grants, accelerators, fellowships, CSR programs, all in one place, sorted by closing date.
Why this exists
Four search queries returned zero directories in the top 10 Google results: green hydrogen grant india, csr climate grant india,iit incubator grant, birac startup grant.
On Reddit, the same question surfaces weekly: "Startup grants INDIA — what do you wish you knew earlier?" 55 upvotes, 30 comments. Multiple people have tried building directories. None finished. None are climate-specific.
The thesis
A 2024 study in Nature Energyfollowed 2,910 US climate-tech startups and found that public grants alone were not significantly associated with exit outcomes. But among publicly funded startups, adding corporate investment raised the exit rate by 155%, against 78% for other private investment. The point is not that grants beat VC. It's that a non-dilutive grant paired with a corporate partner is where the exit lift shows up. climategrants.in surfaces the grants that can open that door.
