Why this exists
Four search queries returned zero directories in the top 10 Google results: green hydrogen grant india, csr climate grant india,iit incubator grant, birac startup grant.
On Reddit, the same question surfaces weekly: "Startup grants INDIA — what do you wish you knew earlier?" 55 upvotes, 30 comments. Multiple people have tried building directories. None finished. None are climate-specific.
The thesis
A 2024 study in Nature Energy found that public grants + corporate capital produce a 155% higher exit rate for climate startups — vs. 78% for the standard VC path. Grants are screening signals. climategrants.in surfaces the grants that unlock those exits.
