Weekly — grants closing this week
Updated every Monday. Every deadline verified against the funder's page.
Who funds climate in India? We mapped it.
The whole capital landscape in one place: 34 grant funders, 8 investors, 7 acquirers. Every node sourced. Free, public, and built for founders.
We built a map of who funds climate in India. Not a list. A map of the money.
Most founders only know the grants. They don't see the whole landscape. So we mapped it: 34 grant funders, 8 investors, 7 acquirers, every one linked to its source.
The money moves in three lanes:
- Grant funders — non-dilutive. Government, CSR, foundations. MNRE, DBT/BIRAC, DST, MeitY, Villgro, Rainmatter, ACT. This is where you start.
- Investors — equity for capital. Rainmatter, Avaana, Ankur, Omnivore, NABVENTURES. 8 verified, each with a sourced portfolio.
- Acquirers — who buys climate startups. Mahindra-Reva, Reliance-SenseHawk, Hero-Ather. 7 deals, all sourced.
The honest part: India climate M&A is thin, mostly EV. We show 7 because that's what's real, not a fabricated 10. Every node links to its source. If you can't verify it, we don't claim it.

If you're a climate founder, this is the landscape you're raising in. Know it before you apply anywhere.
